• Account information: your email address and the date you created your account. This allows you to sign in and link receipts to your profile.
• Receipt information: any details you save such as name, merchant, totals, dates, or notes. Optional receipt images can also be uploaded.
• Technical information: basic operational logs like load times or error events, used solely for reliability and troubleshooting.

Your data is stored on modern, encrypted systems that meet industry security standards. Only authorized services can access your information, and access is limited to what’s needed for your account to function. Every connection uses HTTPS encryption to protect data in transit.

Files and receipts you upload are stored privately and cannot be accessed by other users. All systems are monitored and regularly updated to maintain strong security practices.

AI is used to recognize and extract structured information from receipts you upload. This may include identifying merchant names, purchase totals, or dates. Processing is handled securely, and only the extracted text is stored — not the image content itself, unless you’ve chosen to save it.

No information processed by AI is reused for model training or shared externally. Automated tools are used only to improve your own experience within Staplr.

Your data remains available for as long as your account is active. You can delete receipts or close your account at any time. When deleted, associated files and entries are permanently removed after a short secure retention period for safety and recovery.

AI tools are used strictly to assist you — not to analyze or monetize your data. Information is processed only to improve accuracy and organization, and results stay within your account. Your content is never shared or used to train external systems.

Staplr is not designed for users under 16 and does not knowingly collect data from minors. If such information is discovered, it will be deleted promptly upon request.

This privacy policy may change as the platform evolves. If major updates are made, users will be notified in advance through the app or by email.
